Kelly S. Britt, PT
Kelly is an Ohio licensed Physical thrapist and Co-Founder of Nmotion Prescriptive Exercise and Physical therapy. Kelly was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and attended Ursuline Academy for high school. Kelly attended Indiana University, Bloominton as a Pre-Physical therapy student. Upon completing this program, Kelly attended Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School where she earned her Bachelors degree with honors in Physical therapy.
Kelly is a lifelong athlete herself, playing soccer, basketball, and track in high school. In addition, Kelly played 10 years of select soccer and participated in the Olympic Development Program. She continued her athletic career at Indiana University where she played for the women's soccer team. Kelly's experience with her injuries during her athletic career and successful return to the athletic fields inspired her to pursue a degree in Physical therapy.
Kelly has over 18 years of clinical experience. She has an extensive background in patient populations ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. Kelly's clinical experience ranges from orthopaedics and sports medicine to general medicine, transplants, neurology, acute care, wound care, and wellness. Kelly's current practice includes an emphasis on the treatment of surgical and non-surgical outpatient orthopaedic rehabilitation, with a focus on manual therapy and sports medicine. She has worked with individuals and athletes of all ages and fitness levels.
Kelly has remained committed to her professional development through Continuing Education, including: Integrated Rehabilitation of the Cervical and Thoracic Spine, Achieving better outcomes in patients with unilateral movement dysfunctions, Comprehensive Evaluation and Rehabilitation of the shoulder and knee, Practical applications of the biomechanics of the foot, ankle, and lower extremities, Orthopaedic management of Upper Quadrant injuries, McKenzie Institute, Part A: Lumbar, The Spine, and Womens health and stress management.
Carol McSherry, MPT
Carol McSherry is an Ohio licensed Physical thrapist and Co-Founder of Nmotion Prescriptive Exercise and Physical Therapy. Carol was born and raised on the east coast and has been in the Cincinnati metropolitan area for over 15 years.
Carol attained a BA in psychology from Denison University. Inspired in medicine by her father Dr. Alexander Ackad, a nephrologist in New Jersey, Carol attended Northwestern Medical School in Chicago where she received her Masters in Physical Therapy.
Carol has over 15 years of clinical experience in physical therapy specializing in outpatient orthopaedics. Her patient population includes all ages from adolescents through geriatrics. Her scope of practice includes post operative patients, overuse injuries, low back and neck pain and those with biomechanical issues that need to be addressed.
Carol's approach to treatment is multidimensional. She follows a manually focused treatment regime in conjuction with prescribing exercises that address any muscle imbalances and biomechanical issues that she has identified. She views treatment as a partnership between her and her patient and treats the source of the issues the patient is experiencing, not just the symptoms.
Carol's continuing education includes courses that specialize in the running athlete, core strengthing, total joint replacements, shoulder dysfunction, biomechanics of the foot and ankle, low back pain and Mulligan Mobilization with Movement Techniques.
Carol lives in Mount Lookout with her three children and golden doodle. She is an avid runner and enjoys spending time with her family and cooking.
